Just thinking, since Riley brought up his s-i-l's new trailer repair business, I thought I'd mention my experience.
As I reported earlier in my Pensacola trip report (https://trailersailor.com/forum/index.php?topic=1055.msg6449#msg6449), I had a trailer breakdown. I was referred to Hammerhead Trailer Repair. It was a very good experience and I would highly recommend it if you're ever in the P'cola area and need trailer work done. Honest, good communication, professional but cordial, quick, and reasonable pricewise. He's halfway between Pensacola and the Perdido Key bridge one block off Rt 292/Gulf Beach Hwy.

Oh boy, trailer breakdown. If you ain't been there you're not a trailer sailor! Ours was at Pirate's Cove. Yes, I said some very bad words and am not proud of that at all. Luckily, some folks near the ramp offered dock space and breathing room for extraction of the boat. We carried the broken trailer (springs; both of them) in the back of the truck home. No, probably not legal but we made it without incident and swapped for the utility trailer and went back and got the boat. I left a pretty mahogany board as appreciation. After all, anyone would be proud to make something out of that! All in all, not an experience I feel like replicating. Which reminds me, I've got to price springs for the present trailer. Another reason to get the shop back up to par.
