The Potter Yachters will gather at Lake San Antonio Oct. 16-19 for our last group sail of 2025. So far, we're expecting 19 sailors and 14 boats. Please email or text George to add your name to the list so we'll get enough tri-tip for the Saturday evening feast.
Gretchen and Dan Ricker are bringing a large gas grill and a griddle which will be made available to everyone throughout the weekend. If you don't or can't eat steak, bring your own protein for the group meal. Camp Potter will be located on Road 3 this year, which isn't far from the toll gate. Anyone arriving after hours is advised to find the camp and pay fees the next morning.
If you intend to sleep on your boat, indicate this when you arrive and you won't be charged for camping. The park officials were very accommodating last year, and word has it that they're happy to see us returning.
Pre-launch mussel inspections are mandatory; boats must not have been in mussel-infested waters within 30 days, and they should be clean and dry. Full details and driving directions are in the October newsletter at www.potter-yachters.org. Don't miss the fun!
