That monster is trying to come ashore. The right front quadrant looks very menacing with a huge feeder inflow. Yeah, you COULD be where the wind is HOWLING. Be thankful for blessings. I have never missed that sound.
You're not kidding! And to think many (if not most) of those poor souls do not have shelter built to withstand a Cat 5!!!
Or even insurance. The insurance co. just did an inspection of the house. I hope it's fine but there is debris all over the place from yesterdays storm ( two tornadoes locally) and from the recent demolition of the azalea jungle. I have no idea what they're looking at but the lady said they were more concerned with roof integrity than anything. Which is good because I have a brand new roof. What AIN'T good is that huge oak tree in the driveway. It's reaching the end of its lifespan and will officially become a problem from here on out. She was taking pics so I may have to go looking for insurance because of this or that. It is a problem in this area because the companies don't like the hurricane exposure.
