Title: St. Pats Sail, Potter Yachters
Post by: marksabinSunCat on Feb 27, 2026, 06:57 PM
Dear Potter Yachters;
Depart Westpoint Sat Mar 14th, arrive CPYC later. Dinner and special dancing. Return Sunday. Currents ok. See news letter. I'll need your Docs/boat specs for Coyote, as they require one person per group to furnish data + make reservation. My contact is in news letter. This group sail only open to Potter Yachter members. I'll spend 13th on boat in a slip. Posted here kinda late. So. I am half fool.

Thanks for posting this, Mark. I hope to attend, I do have a few calendar obstacles to resolve first.

I think TonyB plans to attend if his calendar yields to fun instead of duty...

I will send you my boat details privately as requested... I also want to update the event on the club calendar with some practical details, I may ping you about that privately. You can check out the February 6–8 tune-up sale for an example of what we're trying to include this year.

I'm answering here instead of via email because... I really appreciate you posting the details here; and at the annual meeting, someone I respect very much said this is the place to do this sort of thing – – RSVP, ask questions, post details about upcoming trips... so I'm hoping to be part of a "forum revival."

Thanks!

There is an update in the Newsletter about this (will be posted later today), their webpage is now live for ordering tickets to the dinner. Follow this link (https://www.cpyc.com/event/o7YfZWus0S). Click on RSVP Now to order tickets. Sadly, we won't be able to make the sail.

For anyone still hoping to come, sail coordinator Mark says that the Coyote Point Marina now requires an image of your drivers license as well...
