I'm considering purchasing a Suzuki 2.5 outboard for my P15 for extended trips and wondered if other P15 owners can share their opinions? My memory of posts on the old forum is that the Suzuki won't lock in the tilted up position on a stock P15 fixed motor mount without a modification; wish I could still see old forum posts. My P15 is a 2011.
I am also considering the Honda 2.3 but hate the noise of the air cooled Hondas.
I currently use a Torqeedo which is great for daysailing in So CA but not for multi-day trips or rough conditions as the range in bad weather is 4-5 NM at best.
