So my work buddy turned me on to this light and I REALLY like it. I did a test when I first got it and at high power it was still shining after two hours albeit a bit dimmer. It charges fast (USB), is very bright and small and I've used it a LOT. I keep one on the refrigerator (has a magnet on the back) and usually one in my pocket. This may not be the exact model I got but it is similar. It's does get a little warm on high setting and while not waterproof, I did dive in the pool with it in my pocket and it still works. The carabiner could work better but it does work and so far I haven't tried the bottle opener but it is there. This would be a great thing to clip on PFDs. Anyway, for about $8 you get a really useful rechargeable light that lasts a good long while and it's got my vote. I've had it about 3-4 months and it's still ticking right along. I'm planning on getting a couple more to put in the vehicles.

the brightness of LED lights is amazing.
I put two of these under my house and WOW!

I've been looking at those to replace my ancient florescent tubes in the shop. I don't really need a totally lit up shop, as I only work on one side, but that DARK side gets spooky. The little light has an integral stand that folds up and it is possible to use it hands free. I carry one almost all the time because I can't see good any more, especially in the dark, and where I once would have gone outside in the dark on some chore with no light, I no longer care to do that after killing a cottonmouth. And yes, I DO worry about snakes in my shop! It's Mississippi. Snakes are EVERYWHERE.
