Recently changed insurance companies, moving my auto, homeowners and umbrella but I left the boat with the old company mainly because the premium was paid for the year. My agent for the new company called today to say the new umbrella policy could not cover the boat because the insurance limits were insufficient. So, I cancelled the old policy and renewed with the new company for higher limits, more extensive coverage, and saved $125 bucks a year! Just a reminder to all to check your policy limits and particulars. I also took the BoatUS online safety course and saved a few dollars.
