My Club, Leatherlips YC, North of Columbus, was founded in 1928 and started an instruction program in the late 50s. Today was my grand daughter's first day at camp. She's one of, if not the, first third generation student. I was in the class of 61, my son started in 1996, and now Heidi is in the class of 24. She's really 4th generation. When I was a kid they had women's classes and my mom was a student.
My son belongs to Edgfewater YC in Cleveland and lives right down the road. They are a big club, and have a big LTS program, but he wanted his daughter to start out at the same club that he learned at. Pretty cool, and grandpa gets to hang out with Heidi all week.3gen.jpg

Great story Bob, of family history under sail.
