Back in February, Ed Combs was talking about his efforts to match the gelcoat on his recently acquired Sea Pearl on the Monday Night Chat.
In fact, there were also some posts about it with pics, on the old TSBB site, which you won't be able to access until the archives section gets brought over.
In the meantime, The pertinent parts were gelcoat repair kits like this one:
