Title: Thanks to Dave for his Booyah hull cleaner recommendation
Post by: tjspiel on May 30, 2023, 04:32 PM
I know he spends much more time on the Facebook forum but he talked about it in a happy hour too. My boat comes out every few weeks for a hull cleaning so it doesn't get too bad. I go early in the morning and park it about 50 yards from the ramp, then put it right back in when I'm done. I normally use Barkeepers Friend which works but takes a lot more scrubbing.

Booyah is relatively expensive but makes it an easy job. Took half the time, - maybe less.

I wrote Booyah down too and bought it but haven't used it. After Dave's recommendation and Tom's review, it's going down to Norfolk with me!

Frank, are you coming to Harborfest again? I will be sailing about Godspeed again. Would love to connect.
