Note that the regs cover systems over 50 amp hours on 12 volt systems, 600 watt hours on AC. But the reading here will be helpful. One is from BoatUS and the other is from a marine battery manufacturer. If the links don't work just go to these sources.

Actual access to the ABYC E-13 PDF needs membership or buying it at $130. If it is important to anyone, I can get one of our guys with ABYC membership to download it. But if I post it here ABYC may come and arrest our Commodore. Or at least say bad things about us.
