Been a long time since my last visit here...

Hope all you old timers who remember the GRITS crew are doing well

I was reading about the Pensacola beach crowd getting a nice sample of what freedom looks like  ;D  That made me think of the TSBB and all the folks who came to our our BEER Cruise over the years.

Lots and lots of trailer sailor people got to see them fly right over the top of one of our favorite anchorage spots. People from all corners the United States and even a few foreign countries. One year during the peak we had 105 boats sign up.  Hard to believe one guy flew all the way to Pensacola from Australia for our laid back redneck event!

Getting the top of your mast buzzed by those incredible pilots was always a highlight we loved sharing with our guests!

Hiya Tom! Glad to see you're still kicking. Those Angels are awesome. Once, becalmed on the water west of Sand Island, I watched their practice and they swooped in on the runway, then curved and came my way, low level, and then did a pivot on my boat. It was one of the most awesome things I've ever seen and I know they thought it was beautiful too!

Hi Tom!  Nice to see you.

Those were some good times, weren't they?

Hi Noemi,

I have lots of fond memories from the sailboat days! The TSBB crowd was the best!

The GRITS people and our extended families are still friends and we keep in touch often.

Living in Pensacola it is hard to believe I have not been on any type of boat in more than 10 years. Life goes on...

Best wishes to all
Tom and Becky
