Comments on the new TSBB format

Hi, All:

The new TSBB format is very similar (apparently a newer version of Simple Machines software) as what is used for the Com-Pac Yacht Owners Association forum, CPYOA.

I use that frequently, so a couple of usage suggestions applicable here..

The 'Unread Posts' button is very useful, especially if you have initially marked all prior posts as 'Read', whether or not you have previously read them. Then the 'Unread Posts' button identifies every thread to which something has been posted since you were last online.

Select a thread and then click the 'Go Down' button and you will quickly find all the recent posts within that thread with the most recent at the bottom. Working up from there you will see what you had previously read.

If the 'Unread Posts' button returns nothing recently new, it will offer an option to read 'All Unread Topics' and if you click on it every thread which has a post which you have not read will be brought up. Usually these are posts which were newly present but which you didn't open to read the previous time you were online.

Together, I find these buttons very useful on the CPYOA forum and believe they will similarly be useful here.

How to post photos please

On the "Post reply" box look at the bottom left side. Click on the "Attachments and other options". Then drag your photo to "Drag and drop files here" box. You then have to click on "UPLOAD". After that you click on "INSERT". you will then see the photo adress I guess, inserted between these brackets [  ]  in the text box in which you type.
