For those losing sleep over how I will solve the wear problem on the bell buoy

wind chime, it's done.
I was in the shed and cast my eye upon my half-hidden grommet kit. A 3/8's brass grommet fit and it took all of 45 seconds. It's not a perfectly tight fit as the hanging ring does not have a full 360 degrees free. Where the three  steel plates meet the ring the grommet would not tightly fit.
I guess I can snug that area with pliers or vice-grip.

Brass won't wear like the core-10 steel but it lasted over 20 years so brass should be good for a while, and easily and cheaply replaced.

I missed the original Norm. For whom does the bell toll? I'm glad the universe provided the grommet!
