@Charles Brennan - I get to fix that cam follower lever on my engine this upcoming week, it failed the pull test in the driveway yesterday. Easier to pull off the carb than the recoil for the starter rope?

The electric ship docking tug in San Diego has that. The electric push boat in Houston has straight marine reverse gears. The new Mississippi River methanol powered tug I don't know. I'm guessing Z drive as it works great through electric motors.
