A few of yesterday's photos while fly fishing on the Chattooga River. The mud puddles were frozen solid when we got to the river, but had melt water on the ice when we left the river. River temps went from 37.5 to 41.5. That's when we got the first rainbows of the day just when we had to leave for home. I left at 6AM and got home at 6PM. Six hours of that was driving. A wonderful sunny winter's day to be spent in one of the gems of nature with an old friend.

Sounds like a good day.

Love that last pic!

If I ignore the temperatures that was a wonderful trip with attractive photos.

That looks like a great time to me! I haven't fly fished in a long time and only a couple of times for trout. Even got some waders I've never used. Down here on the Pascagoula it's mostly blue gill and they're fun, but I have never liked to eat them. Trout is another matter  :D
