Properties of butyl tape

I just came across this Instagram video of an engineer discussing the properties of butyl tape, and she's holding a roll of what looks like Bed-it Butyl Tape, which we commonly use to seal deck penetrations in our boats. Thought you all might find it interesting.

I just got a roll of Bed-It in a week or so ago.
