Login problems!

The main landing page login doesn't work.  See picture -

I was only able to log in by attempting to create a login. (By the way, that question that asks what state a person is from needs to be removed as no one knows that answer!). Attempted to use the same username I already have and it said 'oh someone already has that' and kicked me to a login screen that worked.

This error message in the pop-up window is new. Never happened before in the months I've been using the new forum. So something that was changed in the last 2 days.

Dave it is a known problem being worked on. If you first hit the register button and then hit the "Login" button on that page without without re-registering it should work.

First off - thanks for setting up the new website.  It is appreciated.

I would suggest getting rid of the question about where Heloise lives at registration. Very few humans (and no Bots) know the answer to that vague reference.

Hmm, I figured that ALL TSBB'ers loved - in their own way - ol' Heloise Hinckley, and her weekly (or so) column poking the rest of us in the eye, if we deserved it. She's as near a Celebrity of the board as I could think of.

Other stuff should settle out over time. The login thing, I'll give a day or two more before ascribing it to "internal software bug", vs "changeover issues at the DNS/SSL level" that will work themselves out on their own...
