Very cool! The mast raising system I use on my CP23 was designed by a guy who had to go under a couple of bridges to get out to open water, so the system is somewhat compact and can be used on the boat on the water, can be stored in a cockpit locker. I'm sure he motored out and didn't have to rely on sailing right up to the bridges and dropping it.

The mast on my Wayfarer 16 can come down and go back up quickly. However, I wouldn't wait until the last minute or should I say the last second!

That's what I'm talking about! But I agree, I'm not waiting until the last second with that varnish!
