Unusual indeed! Funny how this snow went south of us here in the south. I looked at the radar yesterday and it was snowing in Corpus Christi!

My grandson is in Pensacola. Under snow and 18 there this morning. We're at 10 degrees.

It was 0f in central Ohio last night. This morning I'm driving the truck w/camper to Michigan. It will actually be a little warmer there tonight, maybe 9f. I'm sitting in a rest area right now, letting the camper warm up. The propane heater doesn't work when I'm going 70. I think that it gets a little breezy in here, but not sure. I do have ac power when I'm driving but I can't run a regular space heater, even on half power. I need to try a 300 watt heater. A 140w incandescent light bulb keeps my battery compartment at 50f. Lithium phosphate batteries do not like the cold.

I've been here for 20 minutes and the propane heater has toasted the camper up to 65f. Time to get back on the road. The XC ski trails await.
