Huntington Lake - cabin + slip reservations

For anyone interested in joining this year's Huntington Lake sail (Aug.28-31), slips can be reserved at China Peak Landing/Rancheria beginning on May 17. Note that sleeping aboard is prohibited, and that we have a double campsite reserved nearby at the NFS campground at Rancheria, located at the eastern end of the lake. There's not much "beach" near the campground, but small boats should be able to anchor just offshore. larger boats should reserve a slip.

Also, anyone interested in booking a slip + cabin at the western end of the lake can contact Huntington Lake Resort and Marina, which also will begin taking reservations soon. https://huntingtonlakemarina.org

The campsite has a max capacity of 12, and eight (yes!) sailors have already expressed interest. Add your name to the list by posting a message here, or by contacting Jim (sail host) or George using the 2025 members' roster. If we max out early enough to reserve a second campsite, we will.

Caveats: 1) the trip is scheduled for the Labor Day weekend, so last minute reservations won't likely be possible. Book early! 2) Huntington Lake is NOT currently under any Golden Mussel restrictions, but that could change based on circumstances. We will monitor launch rules and post updates as needed.
