Racing today

I'm racing the Thistle today at my club. I've only raced about 3 or 4 days all year. I haven't been to a regatta, except to coach, and I've only sailed Lasers one night! So I'm thinking maybe 12 races all year! I used to do 12 regattas a year, 15 Sundays and 15 to 20 Laser evenings.  Maybe as many as many as 175 races all told. I guess this might explain why I suck now!

I have gone to 12 hs and Junior regattas and have run about 30 practices. I've also spent at least 40 days sailing or working on the Oday, so not dead yet.

I'm not complaining, just marveling at how much has changed.
