Welsford Navigator in my future

So, a Welsford Navigator may become part of my fleet in another week. I know I can only sail one boat at a time, and the old saying beware a man that shoots only one gun because he probably knows how to use it. Lately the boat I sail the most is the Flying Scot I crew on during our Saturday races. I have this affliction in that I want to sail different boats and rarely see a boat I don't like. I went through many different canoes because every boat is a compromise and how do you know which will suit you best without spending time in them. The navigator has 3 sails a foresail, a standing lug sail (which is different from the balanced lug on the Scamp) and a mizen. It is a relatively fast boat for its 14' 9" length and has floatation. The fellow that built it has aged out of it and is selling it for less than the cost of the Aluminum trailer and sails. It's too good of a deal for me to want to pass up. He was up front on answering all my nitpicking questions and seems to be honest. he said it could use some paint but isn't flacking just not as pretty as it once was. We seem to hit it off from the start. He is holding it for me until after this week when I will drive the 2.5 hours to see it. Here are a link and couple of photos of the boat.

Congratulations, I have wanted to build one for years. It was supposed to be my 2nd retirement project. The 1st being a large enough shed to build it in, which I haven't started yet.
