Does anyone have personal experience sailing a pre compac Suncat by Clark Mills?  I am looking to purchase a "barn find" model that the owner knows nothing about. It is an open cat with twin bilge boards built either in Clearwater Fl. or Arkansas.

As you may have noticed, the Catboat forum here is pretty dormant. I'd post this over on the CPYOA.com as well, there is an active Sun Cat forum there.

I've seen bilge board(s) stated as pre-production and, as such, few if any will have seen one so equipped, much less had experience with them (it?). I have seen photos, likely on the CPYOA, years ago. It may have been a Picnic Cat, similarly configured, I'd have to find it. It may have had just one bilge board, off center in a locker, in any case the cockpit was kept clear. It's been a while.

OK, I found a good link. The Craigslist and TSBB links are busted but the rest should work. Unfortunately, the TSBB archives before the most recent forum software update are no longer accessible.
