Ugg! lousy weather

I've been waiting and waiting to launch but poor weather will just not let up. Cloudy, rain, gusts to 30 knots, small craft advisory on Long Island Sound for several days. Memorial day is not a day I would usually go out anyway (too many drunk power boat operators and chaos at the ramp), and the weather is not supposed to improve, but I would risk it for a good weather day (but not happening however).

Last year I sailed only a couple of times, still recovering from my skiing accident and had to go out with my son who did most of the work. His schedule left very few days where he was available. Plus, I recently started a new medication ( I'll discuss the condition another time) that has helped tremendously to restore  my strength, coordination, balance and most importantly mental focus. Anyway, for those that are sailing already enjoy, hopefully I will join you soon.

You'll get out there eventually Brian, but SCA's are to be avoided at all costs! Boat ramps on holidays too ...  :o

Been 7 months for me since last sail. Injuring my forearm didn't help and the stars just haven't lined up yet. Hopefully soon.
