Hi all. It's been a busy spring and summer. New boat, new dreams. Here's where we are. July 7th post

Tami and I are getting ready for a great lakes adventure. Last November we purchased a 1989 Pacific Seacraft Crealock 31 The boat is sitting at Schooner Bay Marina at Bayfield Wisconsin on Lake Superior. After five 1600 mi round trips to secure the purchase and make the boat ready, we are heading for Ohio waters. Next Wednesday we'll start the trip with an overnight sail to Isle Royale, and from there make about 20 stops on the 1000 plus mi, 30 day trip to Port Clinton. We are super excited. This is our 3rd cruising boat, and of course, it's larger than the others. So more creature comforts, more seaworthiness, and way more systems to maintain. I plan to journal our progress here.
