What is the smallest horse power electric start 4 stroke out board mfg recently

Smallest I've seen start at 8hp.  Honda.

Way to much more in HP and weight for most trailer sailors.

Did some internet searches, and I agree with Dave S. They advertise it as electric/recoil. However at 98 pounds for the long shaft, it is hefty. You can easily push the boat with much less. The 2 HP Honda has never let me down and easily moves the P165 in all conditions. Usually starts on the second pull (and I have a bad shoulder).

I agree with both of the above replies, I have a 3.5 Tohatsu that came with my P165 and I never run it more than 1/4 throttle. But there may be a heavier boat in my future, a Compac eclipse is available to me at my sail club.
I really like this boat but at 77 yrs old I may not be willing to put the amount of money into it that it will be offered at, just guessing so far on price.
