I saw this come up on my FB page the other day. Looks pretty nice. I also have Nebo on my phone though I've yet to use it.

Anyone else using either of these or have opinions or suggestions. I rarely sail more than a few miles from my usual ramp, so no great need; but occasionally one might be nice.

I have used Deep Zoom for some of my recent coastal trips.

I used Deep Zoom extensively when I did the GA coast. I used it to plan for tides, currents etc. Do they have an app?

I use the Navionics Boating app on my Android phone (also available for IOS).  Used to be $24.99/year.  Doubled to $49.99/year last year.  The feature that keeps me with Navionics is their use of user depth sounder data to augment charts in areas with few official surveys (like rivers and creeks that feed Albemarle Sound).  With this depth sounder data added, I can see accurate soundings and bottom contours of almost any body of water that sees fishermen using it.

I too use Navionics.  It has a feature where you enter your boats draft and mast height. Haven't had to use that  yet, but one never knows.  As pgandw said, the user updates are great.  Two years ago it kept me from hitting a recently sunk boat on the Bay River.

Give me a big boat and I'll sail the coastline.  Let me have a trailable boat,  and I'll sail her anywhere I desire.

I don't believe deep zoom has an app.

However, Argo is a free app with user input.
