I went a step further, one of the best investments I've made.  With forty or so deciduous trees it is the only way I've found to keep up.  And with all that shade and very hot summers no real grass will make it, so I encourage all weeds or fungi that are green to flourish.You cannot view this attachment.You cannot view this attachment.

Well said Charles . Yes our lawns look great as they are covered by snow 8 months out of the year..followed by 4 months of rain that is perfect for breeding mosquitos . Yes we are mowing when we should be sailing... I'll give you that.
Yes, I've copied your idea of mounting the trailer lights high and out of the water .. I'll concede that point as well..
By the time the water gets soft enough for anything to float it might be past the summer solstice ...
