Are these rope clamps the same?!?!

that claim a working load limit of 320 pound.
I felt they were getting a little ratty and it was time to make new ones.
I bought Ropeze (https://e-rigging.com/products/ropeze-clamps?variant=39745756201033) and find they have a working load limit of 40 pounds.
They look identical but are one eighth as strong.
I am not comfortable with 40 pounds!

Do I toss them and buy some E-Z-TY, or figure they are measuring them differently?
I took one of the old E-Z-TY and used it to hang a loop from a steel beam in my basement.  It held my 185 pound, even with a bit of bouncing, but that doesn't mean the Ropeze will be.  Unfortunately I don't have any extra Ropeze to test.

Digging a little deeper, I see that the Ropeze are ABS and the E-Z-TY are glass filled nylon.  That could be the difference.

Interesting product. However, as you said, 40 pound working load is too low for comfort. I use mooring lines with the loop spliced in, so zero risk that they will fail (as far as the loop is concerned). Could you splice your existing lines to form a loop? Or use a cleat hitch to secure the line to the boat.

Information on where your boat is moored will help. If it's at a mooring it should be a WWP15 and not an open Precision P15. Big difference in weights.
Mass being surged puts a lot of tension on mooring/dock lines. But since what you had lasted 5 years, I assume it worked.
If I was replacing, I would do the same or higher. Not lower.

Your question about whether or not the splices are the same seems to suggest they are not .
While I have those splices and have used them because of their convenience ,I'm not entirely sure I would use them for a mooring bridle .
I would either buy 1/2" or 5/8" spliced eye mooring pendants . With fall coming ,we tend to be inside the house more . What better time to learn the 3 strand eye splice ?

For a mooring line, I wouldn't trust either. I use laid nylon line (3 strand) and just do my own eye splices. Super easy to do in laid line.

The first says glass-filled nylon and the second says ABS.  Based on that alone, I would have guessed the first one is 3 or 4x as strong.  8x seems high, but there could be other design differences.

If you want to use something like that, I would tie a figure 8 and use that thingy to retain the loose end.  It won't do much functionally, but it might look good.
