Azaleas and 80F

The heat cometh. Right now it's pretty much perfect weather and enough wind to cool the sweat when one has found the hot sunshine. The azaleas are blooming, perhaps on the decline after that rain. (Rain tends to degrade the blooms). And more rain is predicted, so maybe we'll fill the cistern back up. I was so glad to see the yellow haze over everything get washed away.

I previously had an azalea jungle on one side of my property but had it all cut down this winter. It was a true jungle, complete with Tarzan vines up the oaks and critters in the underbrush. And it turned into an intense pink experience this time of year. But it was encroaching on my house trying to eat it, and buddy that's a problem. The jungle here is no joking matter. And brings with it snakes, spiders, coon, possums, and foxes. Almost anything really. And so I can now see much further around the curve in the road and have a much better field of fire  ;D

And as you might surmise, I've not done a whole lot of boat things. Patted her stern as I walked by in the shop maybe, but I expect to find a moment to have a spin in the not distant future. Spring is a lot of work. I'm gonna play hooky soon!  ;D  Pic is one of the few remaining I call the double-pink.

And the orange on outside the fence. It is mixed with Mobile's Finest in the top left corner (More deep pink). So even if there is no boat stuff going on I like to enjoy the flowers. You should smell the double pink. It's AWESOME!
