A couple of years ago I posted a YouTube video about what Minnesota sailors do in the winter.
Several Happy Hour members asked if I was ever going to do another one.
On 15 March 2026 we finally had a snowfall which was almost worthy of such a video.
The eastern Midwest and the East Coast people will say that MN got off easy - and they would be right.
This is an unlisted video.
Anyone with the link can view it, but it will not show up in a search.

Awesome Terry! Looks like you've really got your prep down to a science. And I love the sailing analogies in your voiceover!

This is great, Terry! I had NO IDEA a snow blower had so many excellent points of sail!

Very well done! We had  three significant snow events over 10 inches this year so my snow blower (and my poor back) got a workout. +1 on the gaiters, balaclava and ski goggles. I switched to "engineered" gasoline in all my small engines (including the boat outboard) and have not had any gum build up, starting issues or rough idle. Yeah, cost a bit more that at the pump, but I'm sold on the results.
