First Call: Huntington Lake (Sept. 3-7)

Ahoy lake sailors: The time has come to book a campsite at Huntington Lake. The trip is scheduled for Labor Day weekend (Sept. 3-7), with some folks planning to get there 1-2 days early. Docks and cabins can be booked later, but for now we need a preliminary headcount of those who wish to camp. Both campgrounds we're considering are walking distance to the docks/boat launch, and small boats (P-15s, Scamps and such) can anchor in protected coves near the campsites. The group sites have space for 6 vehicles and 18 people. There are room for pickup/van campers too.

If you'd like to join this trip, let me know here on the forum or by email. So far we're at 5 boats and 5-6 campers. Don't delay. We'll need to choose campsites (group vs. standard) within a week or so to make sure that we get one.
