The SECOND boat over the starting line, got over an hour into the race and celebrated with his third beer.

I figured I would be over the starting line in about 2½ hours after the start.

When the boat bobbed back and forth, I would get these puffs of wind coming through the cockpit drain.
Hmmm . . . .  wonder what the RRS would say if someone jammed a 10 foot piece of PVC in the drain hole, topped with a right angle fitting blowing those puffs onto the main sail?

A Race Committee boat came over to chat for a while and making sure I was OK.
Said: "Hey! It only LOOKS like I'm totally out of control!! This is just how I SAIL!!"
