Some of you probably know and use an OB brace. I've just seen one

This is on my neighbors good fishing boat. Paul is an amazing shade tree mechanic. He does his own repairs on his truck, two Mustangs, and two HDs, one is his daily driver. He can do the work as none of them were built in this century. There was a fiberglass 18' fishing boat in his back yard, with trailer and Mercury 150 HP outboard. Outside, uncovered, for more than 10 years. This winter he got the boat, trailer and outboard working and went on several trips on the lake. He did a fiberglass repair on the hull that you can see at 100 yards and the trailer rails are anointed with resin. He is a 100% character and I love him.

I thought this was clever. One end notched one end rounded to fit the roller. Paul at his best. You have to see him doing roof repairs on his circa 1880's house, at night, no safety gear and working by a headlamp.

I like simple and effective. Add minimal $$$s for bonus points.
